Find out more about Mount Faro

Monte do Faro catches the eye from afar, with its 39-meter-high tower: the monument to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. By climbing its spiral staircase of 133 steps, we can discover one of the most impressive views of A Costa da Morte.

In the past, large bonfires were lit here to guide ships or alert the population of possible dangers.
