Costa da Morte Educational Project

An educational project from CMAT

Costa da Morte, sustainable tourist destination

Discover the teaching units and educational resources of the Costa da Morte

In this section you will be able to access the didactic units and educational materials promoted by the CMAT, a tool designed to bring the Costa da Morte closer to the classrooms in a dynamic, transversal and connected way with the territory. Here you will find resources designed to discover the natural, cultural, historical, landscape and human heritage of the Costa da Morte through proposals adapted to the educational field.

This project is also born from a reality that is very present in our day-to-day lives: we often know what is closest to us, in our own municipality, but not so much what exists in the neighbouring municipality. For this reason, these units seek to help students understand the Costa da Morte as a shared, diverse and rich territory, promoting knowledge of the environment from a joint perspective.

The educational proposals are designed to be easily integrated into the school calendar and allow a transversal work of the curricular contents, connecting different areas of learning through experiences linked to the territory. A resource to learn, explore and strengthen the link of new generations with the Costa da Morte.
