Corcubión Town Council is organising an in-person introduction to Galician language and culture course for people aged 16 and over who are approaching Galician for the first time and want to build a practical foundation for everyday communication.
The course will take place in the Plenary Hall of Corcubión Town Council on 7, 8, 9, 10, 14 and 15 September, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The programme will cover basic Galician language skills, everyday vocabulary and expressions, spoken and written communication, and aspects of Galician culture and history. Participants will also explore traditions, festivals, food and music through a practical and participatory approach.
The aim is to provide an accessible first introduction to the language, help participants gain confidence using Galician in everyday situations, and encourage social and cultural participation.
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive the corresponding diploma. For information and registration, contact Corcubión Town Council on 981 745 400.
The activity is organised in collaboration with the Secretaría Xeral da Lingua and the Rede de Dinamización Lingüística.
