This September, Diversiplás is bringing three beach clean-up days to the Costa da Morte, combining environmental awareness, circular economy and social inclusion. The initiative will visit Traba, Ariño and Balarés, inviting local residents and visitors to take an active role in caring for the coastline and reducing plastic waste before it reaches the sea.
Each day is an opportunity to remove waste from the coast while raising awareness of how discarded plastics can eventually reach the ocean. The programme offers a practical way to help protect some of the Costa da Morte’s best-known beaches.
On 4 September, the Diversiplás workshop in Nantón will also hold an open day, giving visitors the chance to discover what happens to recovered plastic waste and how it can be transformed into new products through circular-economy processes.

Diversiplás is an Íntegro project focused on the recovery and reuse of plastic waste, combining environmental protection with social inclusion. The initiative is co-funded by the European Union and the Xunta de Galicia, with support from GALP Costa da Morte.
