Praia de Balarés in Ponteceso will host a new Diversiplás coastal clean-up on 14 September. From 10:00 to 13:00, participants will help remove waste from the beach while taking part in an awareness-raising action focused on reducing plastic pollution in the ocean.
The activity is free and offers a practical way to help care for one of Ponteceso’s best-known coastal areas, bringing together community participation, environmental awareness and protection of the marine environment.
The clean-up will take place on Monday, 14 September 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00. Registration is open until 13 September.

The event is part of Diversiplás, a project promoted by Íntegro that works on environmental awareness and coastal care. The initiative is co-financed by the European Union and the Xunta de Galicia, with support from GALP Costa da Morte.
