Mellor Acompañad@ returns to Buño with a new digital skills course for older people, designed to build confidence, independence and safety when using everyday technology. Following the positive response to the July workshop, the programme is back in September with four practical sessions at the Centro de Artesanía e Tradición (CAT) in A Camposa.
The course will take place on 10, 11, 17 and 18 September 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm each day. The approach is hands-on and accessible, helping participants solve real-life questions and become more comfortable with digital tools they may need in their daily routines.
The sessions will cover common digital tasks and everyday procedures that can improve personal autonomy. Topics include using a mobile phone or smartphone, operating an ATM, using queue ticket machines and dealing with other routine services.
Participants will also receive guidance on public digital services such as the Sergas mobile app and Chave 365, with clear step-by-step support so everyone can practise at their own pace.

More than a basic computer course, the programme aims to make technology a practical ally rather than a barrier, helping older people handle communications, everyday procedures and essential services with greater confidence.
