The gastronomy of the Costa da Morte has dishes that transcend our borders and one of the best known is undoubtedly the “Cocido Gallego”. That is why in the town of San Mamede they hold a popular meeting every year dedicated to this delicacy of our cuisine in which you can taste it along with many others such as the ear, the empanada or the filloas.

This gastronomic festival of the “Cocido Gallego” is held in San Mamede every third Saturday of March offering two complete menus: one for adults and one for children.
