Festa do Bolo do Pote, A Picota, Mazaricos
It is celebrated on the first weekend of March.
Thanks to this festival, a traditional product was revived: the bolo do pote. At this festival, you can taste these cakes made from corn and rye flour, served with chorizo and bacon.
Festa do Cocido Galego en San Mamede, Carnota
It is celebrated on the third Saturday of March.
At this festival, you can taste Galician stew (cocido galego), as well as other typical dishes such as oreja (pig’s ear), empanada, or filloas (a type of pancake).
Festa do Congro, Muxía
It is celebrated on Friday during the Holy Week.
Conger eel is one of the most typical products of Muxía, where its distinctive drying facilities can be found. On this day, you can taste this fish in many different ways and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the town.
Festa do Raxo, Brantuas, Ponteceso
It is celebrated on the first Saturday of June.
This festival begins with a solemn mass and continues with traditional dancing and music. Afterward, the raxo (grilled pork) tasting takes place.
Festa do Percebe, Corme, Ponteceso
It is celebrated on the first Saturday of July.
The percebe (barnacle) is one of the most renowned products of the ocean, and those from Roncudo are particularly famous. That’s why, every year, Corme celebrates with a big festival and takes the time to taste its most prized possession.
Feira das Cereixas, Paiosaco, A Laracha
It is celebrated on the first Sunday of July.
Decades ago, cherry production was of great importance in the area, and this festival is still alive to remember it. This fair was originally held to sell the cherries that were just beginning to ripen. Today, the festival continues to celebrate with more culture and enjoyment.

Faguía, Carnés, Vimianzo
It is celebrated every 9th of July.
This is one of the oldest gastronomic festivals in Galicia, dedicated to callos (tripe). A large quantity of this dish is prepared and tasted, and music is played to celebrate in the days following.
Festa do Longueirón, Fisterra
It is celebrated on the first weekend of August.
Langosteira beach is known for producing a lot of longueirón (razor clam), and a festival has been created to celebrate this. The clam is tasted, and the Pirate Gathering (Encontro Pirata) is also held. All this is accompanied by plenty of music and good atmosphere.
Festa do Pichorro, Cances, Carballo
It is celebrated in the second half of August.
This is a recently established festival where the pichorro (unripe maize) is tasted with peppers and cachelos (boiled potatoes).
Festa do Berberecho en Baldaio, Carballo
It is celebrated on the third Saturday of August.
The berberecho (cockle) is a much-prized shellfish, just like all the shellfish from Costa da Morte, and in Baldaio, a festival is held in its honour. There are tastings of cockles with different recipes, and of course, music will be there!
Festa do Porco ao espeto, Cabana de Bergantiños
It is celebrated on the first Friday of September.
In the parish of O Esto, the entire region gathers to enjoy servings of pork and good music.
Festa da Pataca, Coristanco
It is celebrated on the second weekend of September.
The potatoes from the area are world-famous, and that’s why they have their own festival. Many activities are carried out related to this food, such as an agricultural machinery exhibition, a potato figure competition, land activities, and the tortilla competition (potato omelette). All this is accompanied by performances and concerts.

Festa gastronómica de Soandres, A Laracha
It is celebrated on the second weekend of October.
At this festival, the goal is to enjoy good food in general. It’s an excuse to celebrate without focusing on any particular food.
Feira das Fabas, Ponteceso
It is celebrated on the last Saturday of October.
At the end of September and into October, it’s the harvest season for beans. That’s why the celebrations in their honour begin. At the Feira das Fabas, you can taste fabada (bean stew) and enjoy music and other activities.
Festa da Fabada, Paiosaco, A Laracha
It is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of October.
At this festival, there is no shortage of fabada tastings.
