Designed by the architects Creus and Carrasco, and inaugurated in 2008, it is an example of coexistence between fishing activities and tourism, as it is the first tourist fish market in Galicia, as it receives visitors at the same time as the traditional fish auction is held. It separates the area set up for auctions and other works related to the unloading, sale and preparation of fish, from another space with information panels on the species caught in the area and a permanent exhibition with a model of the coast.
