Those who are looking for an offer of sportive tourism during this Easter have this Sunday an appointment with the VII Viking Trail organized by the Carnota City Council. This race, with solidarity aims, promises to fill Costa da Morte with runners. CMAT, in its intention to strengthen the area as a destination for active tourism, comes to organize the third and last edition of the Costa da Morte Turismo + Deporte program.
Participants of the race and their companions will be able to benefit from a wide program of complementary activities, as well as discounts in accommodations and multi-adventure experiences. The cultural program is framed within the framework of the Víndemo Ver 2019, the eighth edition of the Local Promotion Exhibition of Carnota, whose program includes workshops, cultural events and even a walking route around the Laíño Lighthouse. On Saturday, as a closing to a day full of activities the singer Sés will put the music with a performance in front of the City Hall.
Hotels, rural houses, tourist apartments … Within the offer of establishments attached to the Costa da Morte Tourism + Sport we find all kinds of accommodations, which offer complementary services thinking about the needs of athletes, such as covered spaces for bicycles or special lunches. Those who accredit to participate in the sports event or being a companion can benefit from a 10% discount.
And for those seeking adventures for all audiences, Adventurézaro, Atlantis Adventure Turismo Activo y Naturmaz offer activities such as kaiak routes, paintball, climbing … all with a 20% discount for those presenting their number of registration or the name of the person who will participate in the sports event.
With this third event, the first edition of the Costa da Morte Turismo + Deporte program finishes, with great results in the activities previously carried out during the IX Carreira de Vimianzo and the II Challenge Junior de Carballo. The CMAT seeks to promote, with the participation of the Deputation of La Coruña, the proposal of the Costa da Morte as a destination for sports tourism for all audiences.
