CMAT – Costa da Morte Tourism Association is launching the call to select the establishment that will host the 6th Costa da Morte Tourism Meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, 17 November 2026.
La CMAT busca sede para el VI Encuentro de Turismo de la Costa da Morte

Once again, this event will bring together representatives from the 17 municipalities of CMAT, tourism companies, collaborating entities, professionals, press and opinion leaders, in a day designed to share initiatives, learn about the main projects developed in the destination and encourage contact and exchange between the different agents that form part of the tourism sector of Costa da Morte.

A meeting that travels across the territory

Since its first edition, the Tourism Meeting has been characterised by its itinerant nature, taking this event each year to different points of Costa da Morte. The journey began in 2021 at the Parador de Costa da Morte (Muxía) and continued at Costa Caión (A Laracha) in 2022, at Torre de Laxe in 2023, at Pazo de Trasariz (Vimianzo) in 2024 and at Pazo de Villar de Francos (Carballo) in 2025.

For this sixth edition, CMAT maintains its commitment to continuing to move the meeting to the different municipalities of the territory and once again opens the possibility for tourism establishments in Costa da Morte to submit their candidacy to become the venue for the event.

Application requirements

Establishments interested in hosting the meeting must meet at least the following requirements:

  • Be located in Costa da Morte.
  • Have a minimum capacity of 200 people.
  • Proven experience in organising similar events.
  • Availability for the established date and schedule.
  • Services or technical management capacity (image, sound, furniture, catering, etc.).

The remaining requirements and the specific characteristics of the event can be consulted in the call through the following link.

Submission of applications

For interested establishments, the deadline for submitting applications ends on 22 September 2026. The application will be submitted by sending this downloadable annex, which must be sent together with any complementary documentation that each establishment considers necessary and that may help CMAT carry out the assessments it considers appropriate, to the following email address: admincmat@visitacostadamorte.com

Once received, CMAT will assess the applications and contact the applicants to analyse the technical and economic aspects, with the aim of selecting the most suitable venue. In this regard and, as far as possible, an effort will be made to organise the meeting in a municipality that has not previously hosted the event.
