In order to familiarize the companies of the territory with the Galician Lighthouse Route, the Local Action Groups of the Fishing Sector are organizing familiarization trips to the main tourist resources of the corresponding Territories of Costa da Morte, Costa Sostible and Ría de Arousa. In these FamTrips will visit the most important spaces of this route seeking the identification of these resources by the companies of the territory and those of the bordering municipalities.
The 3 Fam Trips not only contemplate the visit to the fundamental resources of the three territories, but also specific work days will be held in which they will be explained with the contents of the Ruta dos Faros. Next, a networking journey will be carried out through a new technique that will enable companies to undertake new collaborative alternatives. Also, participants will be invited to a tasting of sea skewers in renowned restoration establishments.
To facilitate participation, there will be free coaches that will stop at strategic points in the three territories. The vacancies are limited and the registration period ends on Thursday, November 22nd.
The first Fam Trip will be the one corresponding to the territory of the GALP Costa Sostible next Monday, November 26. This event will include a visit to the Faro and the Fishing Museum of Fisterra, a route with the Mariscadoras do Pindo, a ride on Joaquín Vietas boat and the Water and Salt route. The Traffic Semaphore will be in charge of the tasting of sea skewers and coaches will stop at FEXDEGA (Vilagarcía de Arousa) at 8:15 p.m. at the petrol station at the entrance to Rianxo at 8:30 in the Courts of Carballo at 9:00 p.m. and in the municipality of Vimianzo at 9:30.
The second round will be for the GALP Ría de Arousa on Friday, November 30th. In this Fam Trip you will visit the Ribeira Municipal Market, the Sálvora Island, the Corrubedo Lighthouse and the Curota Viewpoint. The coaches will stop at the Courts of Carballo at 7:45, in the municipality of Muros at 9:00, in FEXDEGA at 9:00 and at the gas station at the entrance to Rianxo at 9:20. In this case the restaurant in charge of the sea skewer will be the Benboa.
The last of these programs will be in the territory of the GALP Costa da Morte next Monday, December 3. Visit the Vilán Lighthouse, Congro Drought, the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca, the Man Museum and the Shellfish Route and the Two Wrecks will take place. The coaches can be taken on the same day at 8:00 in FEXDEGA, at 8:20 at the gas station at the entrance to Rianxo and in the municipality of Muros at 8:30. Rincon da Baiuca will be the local manager of the sea skewer.
