ZAS, 23/08/2024. Costa da Morte Tourism Association (CMAT) is organising this activity to promote tourism, inviting four professional travel bloggers to visit different places on the Costa da Morte for three days. The initiative, which is financed through a collaboration agreement with Turismo de Galicia, will take the bloggers to visit different places in the area on the 29th, 30th and 31st of August.

Four different profiles to highlight the Costa da Morte

The four bloggers that will take part in this trip around the Costa da Morte have been working professionally on their blogs for years. They have millions of annual visits on their websites, where they talk about travel from different perspectives.

Leticia Pérez, from Trucos Viajeros, (@trucosviajeros on Instagram) is a traveller with a passion for local culture, curious about crafts and the unique celebrations of the places she visits.

Emma Sexto, from Un Mundo Infinito, (@1_mundoinfinito and @disfrutarcoruna on Instagram) has been a professional tourism promoter for five years and writes about Galicia for digital media.

Rafael Pérez, from Viajando el Mapa, (@viajandoelmapa on Instagram) reports on his visits to Galicia and other places in the world through his blog, in which necrotourism and wine tourism have a special place.

Finally, Dani Keral (@danikeral on Instagram) has been working for years in media such as Condé Nast Traveler, Yorokobu la Revista Salvaje and his own blog, Un Viaje Creativo, which has won numerous awards. Dani divulges tourism and travel from points as diverse as art or anthropology, always from a creative approach.

The commitment of the administrations to tourism on the Costa da Morte

During this blogtrip, different councils of the Costa da Morte will be visited, following a criterion of territorial balance. In this sense, the municipalities that are not visited on this occasion, will be visited in the next blogtrip of families.

This agreement is indicative of the strong commitment of the local councils and Turismo de Galicia with the Costa da Morte geodestination, since thanks to it it will be possible to carry out both these blogtrips and the 4th Annual Tourism Meeting of the Costa da Morte, which is already scheduled to be held on 12 November 2024.

In the near future, the CMAT will open the period for the business of the Costa da Morte to present their candidatures for the celebration of this fourth edition of the Annual Tourism Meeting.

In addition, thanks to this agreement, a project will also be developed to promote the value of the local crafts of the Costa da Morte, as well as other promotional activities that are being planned by the CMAT board.
