Are you looking for plans for this 2024 Easter in Costa da Morte? Here you have! A complete list of activities to enjoy and make your visit unforgettable!
Plans in nature in the Costa da Morte
An ideal option to enjoy our land is also to do it near our water. Both on the coast and in our inland municipalities, there are many ideal routes and walks. Although we recommend every corner of our 17 municipalities, we are going to recommend an amazing spot of each one of them:
- A Laracha – In Caión begins our territory, so we believe that it is also a perfect spot to start a visit to the area if you start from the north. You can delight yourself with the gastronomy of our land in any of its restaurants.
- Cabana de Bergantiños – The viewpoint of Picotiños is the ideal place to have a panoramic view of this municipality, as well as Ponteceso and Laxe, with which it shares the estuary.
- Camariñas – Cape Vilán is the mandatory stop in this municipality and you can also visit the beach of Reira.
- Carballo – Would you like to surf in Costa da Morte? Razo beach has surf academies and is the ideal place both to take lessons and to perfect your surfing.
- Carnota – Carnota beach is the longest beach on our coastline, so we think spending some time there will be a perfect plan for this week.
- Cee – Lires is a highly recommended beach to visit. It is only separated by a river from the beach of Nemiña (Muxía), so the temptation to cross at low tide can be very high, but the danger is even greater. Do not cross it by the river, because the current is very strong and it can be very dangerous.
- Corcubión – We propose here a walk through the town, along the estuary, discovering part of its historical heritage, which is a lot. If you have any doubts about the history of Corcubión, you can always visit the tourism office.
- Coristanco – Verdes is a beautiful place both to pay a visit and to spend your day with your family and have lunch there.
- Dumbría – Where the sea river meets the sea, at the mouth of the river Xallas. The ever-imposing Ézaro waterfall, where you can kayak, take photos or just enjoy the views.
- Fisterra – The beach of Mar de Fóra is one of the wildest beaches of our coastline. Ideal to enjoy a walk looking at the horizon (weather permitting).
- Laxe – The headland of Monte da Ínsua, where the lighthouse is located. It has tables ready to sit and enjoy the views of both the estuary and the immensity of the sea.
- Malpica de Bergantiños – Easter is the perfect time to visit Cape Santo Hadrian, taking in the Sisargas Islands and beyond Ferrol in a single photo.
- Mazaricos – What could be better during this week to discover its waterfalls? You can start, for example, with Noveira waterfall.
- Muxía – Nemiña, already mentioned above, is ideal both for a walk and for a day of surfing in group.
- Ponteceso – Discover Niñóns beach and its small caves at low tide. An adventure for the whole family.
- Vimianzo – We recommend the Route of the Secrets of the Val de Vimianzo (Ruta dos Segredos do Val de Vimianzo). The complete route is about 14 kilometres, but you can always do smaller linear sections.
- Zas – The Water Route is a very pleasant walk. It is about 9 kilometres if you do it in its entirety, but it can always be shortened and made more accessible to anyone.
