The Francisco Mayán Municipal Public Library in Cee will host the presentation of «Lope Sánchez de Moscoso, un vizconde no tempo de Enrique IV de Castela» by researcher and author Manuel Canosa Trillo on Friday, 18 September 2026 at 8:00 pm.
The book offers a documented approach to Lope Sánchez de Moscoso and to the political and social context of 15th-century Galicia during the reign of Henry IV of Castile. Combining historical study, analysis and a collection of documents, the volume provides a rigorous basis for understanding the figure and his connection with the history of the Costa da Morte.
During the event, Manuel Canosa Trillo will introduce the main lines of his research and explain the work with historical sources behind the book. The session will also offer an opportunity to see how documentary evidence can help reconstruct episodes, relationships and key figures from Galicia’s past.
The author will be joined by Margot Lamela Louzán, mayor of Cee; Modesto Fraga, writer; and Víctor Manuel Castiñeira Castro, Culture officer and historian.
