On Friday, 18 September 2026, Camping Lago-Mar hosts “Culture with people at the centre”, an open conversation among people creating culture from a local, community-based perspective. The session starts at 7:30 pm in Merexo (Muxía) as part of Lago-Mar’s September programme.
The discussion focuses on a central question for meaningful cultural work: how to create from a specific place while keeping the people who live there at the heart of the process. The event invites participants to share experiences, questions and working methods around culture that is participatory, accessible and connected to community life.
The format is intentionally open and conversational, bringing cultural debate into an informal setting. It may be especially relevant to artists, associations, cultural workers, people involved in community projects and anyone curious about how local cultural initiatives are imagined and sustained.
