Coristanco Council will host an introductory course on the Galician language and culture, designed especially for people with no previous knowledge of Galician or those wishing to learn the basics for greater confidence in everyday situations.
The course will be practical, communicative and participatory. It will cover basic vocabulary, common expressions, oral and written comprehension, spelling and useful resources for everyday communication. Participants will also be introduced to Galicia’s culture and history, including its festivals, traditions, gastronomy and music.
For people aged 16 and over, especially those approaching the Galician language for the first time or wishing to acquire basic knowledge.
Registration is available at the Coristanco Municipal Library.
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a diploma issued by the Secretaría Xeral de Política Lingüística certifying successful participation in the training.
The course will only take place if a minimum number of participants register.
The initiative is organised in collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia through the Secretaría Xeral de Política Lingüística, within the Rede de Dinamización Lingüística.
