The Municipal Library of Coristanco invites everyone to celebrate Galician Literature Day with a special event designed to move, inspire and bring families together. It will be a morning full of words, imagination and culture, highlighting Galician literature, the creativity of young people and the important role of women in Galician literary history.
The programme will begin at 12:00 noon with the award ceremony of the 11th Asunción Antelo Artistic and Literary Contest, recognising the effort, creativity and talent of the children and young people who took part. This contest keeps alive the power of words, art and the legacy of Asunción Antelo Suárez, encouraging cultural expression from an early age.
Afterwards, Trémola Teatro will perform the storytelling show “As letras que voan con nome de muller”, a lively, fun and moving activity for all audiences. The performance will introduce the work of Begoña Caamaño and also explore the women who have been honoured throughout the history of Galician Literature Day. An open event for the whole community, perfect for enjoying Galician culture as a family.
