Galician Literature Day 2026 in Cabana de Bergantiños will be celebrated on Sunday, 17 May at 11:00 am at the Municipal Auditorium, with an institutional event dedicated this year to the writer and journalist Begoña Caamaño. It will be a special occasion to celebrate the Galician language, culture and local community participation.
The event will include music, readings and theatre, with the involvement of local residents and social and cultural organisations from the municipality. It is an open and welcoming programme designed to honour the Galician language through emotion, creativity and shared celebration.
Admission will be free until full capacity is reached, and everyone is invited to attend and enjoy this celebration of Galician Literature Day in Cabana.
