Some stories should never be lost at sea. On 6 November, the 22nd Malpica Theatre Festival welcomes Mariña Lestón with Costa da Morte, cartografía dun naufraxio, a moving piece of theatre shaped by the maritime memory of the Costa da Morte.
Through real-life accounts and traditional songs performed live, the production revisits local shipwrecks while honouring the people who died, the families who waited and the communities that helped. It is an intimate encounter with the history and spirit of Galicia’s coast.
