The Exhibition Hall at the Faro Vilán Interpretation Centre in Camariñas hosts “Au bord du monde” from 2 to 30 September 2026, a painting exhibition by French artist Jean-François Robic.
The exhibition creates a direct dialogue with nature and the Atlantic landscape. The sea, sky, horizon and plant world are central to a body of work shaped by close observation of the environment and by an approach in which gesture and material play an essential role.
Jean-François Robic works particularly with Chinese ink and experiments with placing plant elements directly onto the support. Branches, leaves and other organic forms become part of the creative process, leaving marks, traces and imprints that allow nature itself to participate in the making of the work.
Faro Vilán provides an especially fitting setting for this exhibition: a place exposed to the ocean, wind and horizon, where Robic’s work finds a natural connection with the landscape of the Costa da Morte.
The exhibition can be visited at the Exhibition Hall of the Faro Vilán Interpretation Centre in Camariñas.
