The Concello de Camariñas celebrates Galician Literature Day 2026 with a cultural programme designed to bring the Galician language, literature and creativity closer to audiences of all ages. Throughout May, the programme includes performances, storytelling sessions, literary awards, magic and family-friendly activities.
The events will take place mainly at the Municipal Library and the Casa de Pedra, two key cultural venues in Camariñas. This welcoming and participatory programme invites locals and visitors to join one of the most meaningful celebrations in Galician culture.
The programme will conclude on 17 May with the awards ceremony of the Letras Galegas literary competition, presented by Demi Marcote and featuring Mago Richard with the show Todo está nos libros. The event will also include a tasting of filloas da Caramuxa.
