The Festival of Os Remedios 2026 in Lira will return in April with a programme that brings together religious tradition, music and a festive atmosphere in one of the standout celebrations of these dates in the municipality of Carnota. The poster announces activities for April 7 and 11 in Lira, with a programme that includes liturgical events, traditional morning music and plans for the whole community.
On Tuesday, April 7, the celebration will feature dawn music with the bagpipe group Peta Forte, morning masses, a solemn mass at 1:00 pm followed by a procession, and a sung mass at 7:00 pm. On Saturday, April 11, the day will begin with O Son dos Michos Fisterra, continue with the solemn mass sung by the Mar de Ardora polyphonic choir from the ESMU of Carnota and the procession, and will also include a fireworks display and a vermouth session with the orchestra Fuego.
Later in the day, the Festival of Os Remedios 2026 in Lira will also offer free bouncy castles for children from 6:00 pm, while the evening dance party will feature the orchestra Origen and DJ Cotton. The poster also confirms that there will be a marquee, making this celebration an even more complete plan for enjoying the festive spirit in Lira.
