On Friday, 17 October 2025, the Casa da Cultura de Vimianzo hosts the pre-premiere of Brazaletes, an Amorodio Teatro monologue that turns football into a stage for remembrance and resistance. The play recalls 28 September 1975 at El Sardinero, when Aitor Agirre and Sergio Manzanera wore black armbands to protest the final executions of Franco’s regime.
Performed by Javier Castiñeira, directed by Santiago Cortegoso and written by Ernesto Is, Brazaletes travels from Bebel García (1936) to Sócrates (Corinthians) while confronting corruption, sexism and capitalism around the beautiful game. Sergio Manzanera will attend the pre-premiere in Vimianzo. A must-see theatre event in Vimianzo for those who value culture, memory and a powerful story.
