The 7th Carballo Junior Challenge will take place from August 29th to 31st, 2025, establishing itself as one of the leading cycling events in Galicia and Spain. Organized by the Carballo Vázquez y Reino Cycling Club, with the support of the Galician Cycling Federation and the Council of Carballo, it will feature 120 riders from over twenty clubs across Galicia, Andalusia, Asturias, Cantabria, and Castile and León, as well as the first international participation of the French team Occitane.
The race includes three stages: on Friday 29th, a 3 km individual time trial from Razo Beach to Monte Neme; on Saturday 30th, a 106.3 km national stage starting and finishing on Avenida da Milagrosa; and on Sunday 31st, the decisive 95 km stage from Carballo to Pedra do Sal, passing through Malpica’s coastline and Carballo’s coastal parishes.
With nearly 200 participants including riders, staff, referees, and organizers, plus families and fans who will line the roads, the 7th Carballo Junior Challenge 2025 will turn Carballo and Costa da Morte into a true cycling festival.
