Music, theatre and Galician cultural memory come together at the 35th FIOT festival in Carballo. On Thursday, 22 October 2026, Acentral Folque brings two book presentations to the Pazo da Cultura, offering a chance to explore Galicia’s musical history and celebrate a much-loved artist. Admission is free.
Researcher Javier Gándara Feijóo presents A música dos desprazados, a book exploring lyrical theatre and Galician cultural identity during the 18th century. Discover how performance and music help preserve a community’s history.
The second presentation honours Fran Pérez NARF, a Galician musician, singer and composer whose work was closely connected to theatre. The book and CD Fran Pérez NARF. Canto sentido celebrate his artistic legacy, with contributions from Quico Cadaval and Xelís de Toro at the event.
