Throughout May, the exhibition hall of the iconic Faro Vilán will host “Cestos – Senalles”, a collective exhibition featuring 24 artisanal baskets creatively transformed by Mediterranean artists.
This exhibition highlights the traditional basket —an artisan object once replaced by plastic bags— now reborn as an artistic canvas. Each piece on display turns a functional everyday item into a true work of contemporary art.
This initiative comes to Camariñas thanks to the collaboration of the Concello de Camariñas, the associations Art amb B and Ambaca, and the support of the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics.
