Costa da Morte continues to establish itself as a leading destination for astrotourism!

Recently, Correos has launched a collection of stamps dedicated to sustainable tourism, and among the featured locations is Punta Nariga, one of our great natural treasures and part of the Starlight Tourist Destination promoted by CMAT.

This recognition is the result of intense work and a strong commitment to protecting the night sky and developing sustainable tourism. Thanks to the joint efforts of organizations, industry professionals, and institutions, Costa da Morte has achieved Starlight certification, becoming a privileged location for astronomical observation.

The Correos stamp highlights the beauty and uniqueness of Punta Nariga, with its iconic lighthouse under an impressive blanket of stars. A reminder that Costa da Morte is not only about history, nature, and the sea, but also an exceptional place to gaze at the sky and discover the universe.

At CMAT, we continue working to promote initiatives like this that position our region as a unique destination. Thank you to everyone who helps make Costa da Morte shine with its own light!
