The dolmen that flew in
The name Pedra Moura evokes the existence of legends of fantastic beings in this dolmen. Specifically, the elders say that their stones were transported by a moura from the Petón de Calvelo while spinning with a spinning wheel and breastfeeding a child.
Located in a meadow, it is a monumental megalith, although quite altered. For example, there is no evidence of the earthen mound that originally covered it, probably due to continuous agricultural work, but the seven vertical slabs that it preserves still show its large size.
It also has the particularity of apparently not having an entrance corridor, as is the case with most of the known dolmens of the Costa da Morte. It only has a polygonal camera.
