Thanks to the Tourism of Galicia budget that was approved this week, the CMAT will carry out a plan to promote the establishments of the Costa da Morte through the sale of experiential packages. Cultural, gastronomic, active tourism experiences and the best accommodation in the area with guaranteed security measures, that is the proposal of the managing body of the geodestination to revitalize.
Through an agreement signed with the company Naturmaz Viajes, tailor-made tourist experiences will be created in which the establishments affiliated to APTCM will play a leading role. The target audience will be essentially couples and small groups of family or friends, from Galicia or nearby areas. In this way, a commitment is made to local tourism, a key piece this year in which extreme precautions and safety must be taken because of the covid-19 pandemic.
The tourist packages are only part of the tourism plan that will be developed in the coming months, which will promote the promotion of Costa da Morte establishments, focusing on personalized attention and the quality product and “zero kilometer” that characterizes them. In this sense, there will be a commitment to the brand values “Naturally wild” and “Marine character“, the part of the identity of the CMAT strongly linked to the sea and the natural resources of the area.
