Costa da Morte Tourist Association aims to offer the opportunity to all the tourist establishments of this territory to host this event, scheduled for 28th November.

The deadline for the presentation of candidatures is 30th September.

The Costa da Morte, one of the most unique tourist destinations in Galicia, is getting ready to host the highly-anticipated 3rd Costa da Morte Tourism Meeting. Costa da Morte Tourist Association (CMAT), with the co-financing of Turismo de Galicia and the support of the Deputación da Coruña, is actively working to make this event an unmissable event. The III Encontro de Turismo de Costa da Morte will take place on 28th November 2023 and will bring together the main public and private actors working for the sustainable development of tourism in the region. This event, which took place for the first time in 2021 at the Parador de Costa da Morte in Muxía and last year in Costa Caión (A Laracha), aims to be a space for the celebration of networking, exchange of ideas, successes and proposals to continue promoting the economic and social growth of the territory through tourism.

This year CMAT wants to offer the opportunity to all the tourist establishments of the Costa da Morte to host this meeting. The intention is to give visibility to the companies of the Costa da Morte and to highlight the excellent work of the sector. For this purpose, it has established a deadline for the presentation of candidatures which will end on the 30th of September. Any establishment that meets the established requirements is invited to send its proposal. Priority will be given to applications from establishments associated with CMAT through the Professional Association of Tourism of the Costa da Morte (APTCM), thus seeking to promote collaboration and networking. Those companies that are not members of APTCM, but wish to host the event, can join at any time, as the entity is in the process of recruiting members to achieve a greater union and professionalization of the sector.

A CMAT established minimum requirements to evaluate the candidatures, among which are included:

  • Location of the establishment on the Costa da Morte.
  • Minimum capacity of 150 people.
  • Availability of suitable spaces for the format of the event.
  • Necessary equipment and means or capacity to subcontract those that are not available.
  • Experience in similar events.
  • Availability on the date and time indicated (Tuesday 28th November, from 17:30 to 20:00 hours, approximately).

Presentation of candidatures:

– Deadline: until 30 September 2023.

– Format: Complete the downloadable annex available on the CMAT website (visitacostadamorte.com).

– Sending: Send the annex together with the necessary complementary documentation to the CMAT e-mail address: admincmat@visitacostadamorte.com.

Evaluation of candidatures:

CMAT is enthusiastic about the candidatures to celebrate this III Costa da Morte Tourism Meeting, which will strengthen the relationships between the actors of this key sector for the territory.
