CMAT, Costa da Morte Tourism
CMAT has chosen the Parador Costa da Morte, in Muxía, as the venue for the 6th Costa da Morte Tourism Meeting, which will take place on 17 November, five years after this same venue hosted the first edition of the event. The meeting is funded by the Galician Tourism Agency and supported by A Coruña Provincial Council.
An actress, creator, and proud daughter of Fisterra, Marta Lado is one of the most genuine and heartfelt voices in Galician cinema. With her deep gaze and thoughtful words, she perfectly embodies the spirit of the Costa da Morte —wild, emotional, and profoundly true. Now, as Costa da Morte Ambassador 2026, she becomes the voice that represents this land to the world, with the same passion she brought to her role in Sicixia —the film that forever connected her to the coast where she was born— and with the calm strength of someone who understands that culture is, above all, an act of love for the place we call home.
The CMAT Board of Directors has decided to present this recognition to the actress from Fisterra during the 5th edition of the Costa da Morte Tourism Meeting.
