The second of the estuaries of the Costa da Morte seen from north to south is that of Camariñas. This estuary has its ends at Cape Vilán (Camariñas) and at Punta da Barca (Muxía) and its vertex at the mouth of the Rio Grande (formerly known as Porto) that begins in Ponte do Porto.

In the Camariñas estuary you can visit places such as Punta da Barca and its Sanctuary, the monastery of Moraime, the Vilán lighthouse, the beach of Leis and the picnic area of O Ariño as well as points outside the estuary, but which are located in the surroundings such as the rampant dune Monte Blanco, the cemetery of the English or the area of Camelle and Arou with the museum of Manfred Gnädinger.
