From Wednesday 22nd to Sunday 26th January, the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2025 will be held in Madrid, an event of vital importance for tourism where the Costa da Morte will have an important role. The CMAT, as an association that represents the 17 municipalities and businessmen of the Costa da Morte, will have its own space to highlight the territory in this international fair.

Costa da Morte, Naturally Wild

The slogan that will accompany the CMAT during this meeting will be ‘Naturally Wild’. Two words that define very well the tourist attraction of the territory. In this sense, on Thursday 23rd at 18:20, the association will present its promotional video, which highlights the importance of the wild nature of Costa da Morte.

The Costa da Morte is an untamed place that, year after year, proves that nature cannot be tamed. It is rough and wild but welcoming to anyone who comes to see it. From its hiking trails, its beaches, its forests and waterfalls and its starry skies. The Costa da Morte is a magnificent destination to discover.

Presence of the municipalities

In addition to the CMAT stand, there will be municipalities of the Costa da Morte that will have their own spaces, where they will present their tourist proposals.

Vimianzo and Laxe, in collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia, will present a promotional video about the Penedos de Pasarela and Traba. This natural environment has a unique protected granite formation and one of the best panoramic views of the territory.

Cee will be recognised as a Smart Tourism Destination during FITUR. Cee joined this network in 2024 and will be the first municipality in the province of A Coruña to be recognised as such. A promotional video will also be presented by the mayoress, Margarita Lamela.

Camariñas will also have its place at the Turespaña stand to present the XXXIV Mostra do Encaixe on Thursday 23rd in the afternoon with a poster, a promotional video and an official Mostra T-shirt, designed by Esteban Freiría.

Together with Vimianzo, Dumbría will present the MiraQVistas campaign to highlight the tourist value of the O Ézaro viewpoint. Also the immersive campaign Dumbría 360º.

Other municipalities such as Carnota, Muxía or Fisterra will have their moments of protagonism in initiatives such as Solpor, Camiño Fisterra-Muxía or the Volta da Gloria.
