This initiative aims to promote sports tourism in the Costa da Morte geodestine

Participants and companions can benefit from special discounts and complementary activities to the sport event

This program, promoted by the CMAT and with the participation of the Diputación de A Coruña seeks to turn Costa da Morte into a reference in the organization of sports activities for all audiences and disciplines. After the success of the IX Vimianzo Race last Saturday, March 31, it is the moment of the II Junior Challenge of Carballo, organized by the Carballo Cycling Club.

The three stages will take place between Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 in different privileged locations of the town, such as Razo beach or Monte Neme. To make the tourist offer more attractive, the CMAT Tourism Association organized a program in collaboration with some establishments in the area that aims to offer a full experience to the participants and the people who accompany them.

This plan includes discounts at fourteen hoteles and dozens of active tourism activities with discounts of 20% on its price; as surf baptisms or paintball. To finalize the proposal, two free activities to enjoy the most modern and cultural Carballo: the digital content festival Carballo Interplay and a guided tour of the urban art project “Derrubando muros con pintura” (Bringing down walls with paint”).

And what is the next date of Costa da Morte Tourism + sport? The Catoiras Viking Race on April 21, which promises to gather the running fans of the region and the whole of Galicia.

The final objective of the program is to strengthen Costa da Morte as an active tourism destination, while presenting itself as a geodestine area where activities and experiences converge for all publics and interests.
