On Sunday, 20 September 2026 at 19:00, the Antiga Escola de Nemiña hosts “Vicio houbo sempre”, an oral storytelling performance by Atenea García presented as part of Historias ao Serán within the Muxía Itinerante programme.
Atenea García builds the performance around spoken word, listening and a close connection with the audience. Oral storytelling is presented in its most direct form: stories shared without elaborate staging, carried by voice, gesture and the rhythm of the storyteller.
The performance is part of an itinerant programme travelling through Muxía’s parishes and bringing live cultural events into local community spaces. The Antiga Escola de Nemiña becomes the setting for an evening of stories and a contemporary encounter with the oral tradition.
