The 44th Festa da Pataca de Coristanco 2026 takes place on 19 and 20 September, turning Coristanco into one of the Costa da Morte’s key food and cultural destinations for the weekend. This long-running celebration is dedicated to the local potato, farming heritage and the identity of a municipality closely connected to this traditional crop.
The weekend programme brings together gastronomy, tastings, competitions, live music, family activities and rural traditions. Decorated tractors and activities highlighting the work of local growers and producers are also among the most characteristic features of the festival.
