The Festa das Virtudes 2026 in Borneiro will take place on 5 and 6 September in O Briño, in the municipality of Cabana de Bergantiños. The two-day celebration brings together local religious tradition, live music, vermouth sessions, a community lunch and family-friendly activities as part of the 3rd Festa das Familias.
On Saturday 5 September, the day begins at 1:00 pm with a solemn mass in honour of Our Lady of Virtues. At 2:00 pm, the celebrations continue with a vermouth session featuring O Son do Castro and a DJ.
On Sunday 6 September, another solemn mass will be held at 1:00 pm. At 2:00 pm, traditional bagpipe group Os Enxebres de Cabana will perform, followed at 2:30 pm by a vermouth session with Dúo Show.
After Sunday’s vermouth session, a community lunch will be served in the Carballeira do Campo do Briño. The menu includes callos and grilled meat, followed by dessert, coffee and a digestif. Prices are €30 for adults, €15 for children up to 12 and free for children up to 6.
Dúo Show will provide the afternoon entertainment and, from 4:00 pm, younger visitors can enjoy inflatables, face painting, balloon modelling and other children’s activities.
