On Monday 2 November 2026 at 8:00 pm, Muxía will welcome football supporters from across the Costa da Morte for the draw of the 62nd men’s Copa da Costa and 7th women’s Copa da Costa. The event at Sala Gervasio Sar marks the beginning of another season of local cup football.
The draw is open to the public, so fans are welcome to experience the anticipation as the teams discover their matchups. Pablo Prieto, president of the Royal Galician Football Federation (Futgal), will attend. The event is supported by Muxía Town Council and CF Muxía.
The Copa da Costa brings together clubs and communities throughout the region. This draw is the first chapter of the 2026–2027 men’s and women’s cup competitions, a celebration of grassroots football on Galicia’s coast.
