Find out more about Baio Festival 2026: live orchestras, vermouth sessions and tradition from 4 to 6 September

Baio will see out the summer in style with its festival from 4 to 6 September 2026, a lively weekend combining Galician orchestras, daytime vermouth sessions and traditional religious celebrations in the municipality of Zas.

Across three days, Baio Pequeno and Fornelos will host street music, Masses, a procession and evening dances, with entertainment running from midday until late at night. The line-up includes Orquesta Escaparate, New York Orquestra, D’Noche, Horizon The Show, Trío Alborada and Discomóvil Impacto with Drew Korme.

Friday 4 September: Escaparate and New York

The programme begins with a 1:00 pm Mass in honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Baio Pequeno, followed by a traditional street performance by the pipers of A.C. Adro and a lunchtime vermouth session with Orquesta Escaparate.

In the evening, the first major dance of the weekend will feature Orquesta Escaparate and New York Orquestra.

Saturday 5 September: procession, D’Noche and Horizon The Show

Saturday starts at 12:00 noon with a procession through Fornelos. At 1:00 pm there will be a Mass in honour of Saint Anthony and Saint Roch in Baio Pequeno, followed by more street music from A.C. Adro.

D’Noche will provide the lunchtime entertainment and return in the evening for a large open-air dance alongside Horizon The Show.

Sunday 6 September: large vermouth session

The final day begins with a 1:00 pm Mass in honour of Saint Mary in Baio Pequeno. The weekend then moves into a large vermouth music session featuring Trío Alborada, followed by Discomóvil Impacto and Drew Korme.
