The 31st Raxo Festival in O Faro de Brantuas, in the municipality of Ponteceso, will take place on Saturday, 6 June with a full day of food, music and festive atmosphere. The programme will begin from 10:00 a.m. at the festival grounds, where a large marquee will be available for greater comfort.
The celebration will include a solemn mass, followed by dancing and regional music, as well as an opening speech by the teachers Fina Paulos Lareo, Lorena Cerdeiro Núñez and Óscar Rey Calo. The vermouth session will feature Dúo Defesta and Disco Móvil Impacto, accompanying one of the highlights of the day: a tasting of raxo, octopus, empanada and larpeira.
From 6:00 p.m., the festival will continue with an evening party featuring Dúo Defesta and Disco Móvil Impacto, creating a lively afternoon and evening for dancing, sharing food and enjoying the popular festive spirit of the Costa da Morte. The Raxo Festival in O Faro de Brantuas is organised by A. C. Nosa Sra. do Faro, with the collaboration of the Concello de Ponteceso and the Deputación da Coruña
