On 7 June at 7:00 p.m., the Auditorium of the Casa de Cultura in A Picota will host the premiere of “Thank You, I’m Fine Here”, the new play by the theatre group TROULA. It will be a special evening to enjoy theatre created in the rural world, with local talent, humour and a warm look at everyday community life.
TROULA was born from the municipal theatre workshops led by Arantza Villar, an experience that gradually grew into a stable theatre group committed to local culture and stories rooted in the community. With this new play, the group presents a piece full of humour, Galician wit and scenes that speak about familiar situations and shared concerns.
After four months of rehearsals and with the support of Fósforo Arte e Cultura, fourteen performers will take to the stage to bring this new production to life. A heartfelt premiere that celebrates local creativity, community theatre and the simple joy of feeling that, right here, we are exactly where we want to be.
