Autumn in Galicia is a time for gathering, sharing stories and enjoying freshly roasted chestnuts. On Saturday, 7 November 2026, Magosto no Quinteiro brings an afternoon of seasonal traditions to the Forno do Forte Ecomuseum in Buño, Malpica de Bergantiños.
A magosto is a traditional Galician chestnut celebration, and this gathering pairs its welcoming atmosphere with games and oral storytelling. The setting is just as memorable: Forno do Forte preserves the heritage of Buño’s pottery-making community, an important part of local culture.
