What if a time machine could introduce us to the women who helped transform science? On Friday, 23 October 2026, at 6:30 pm, the Ponteceso Municipal Library hosts A máquina do tempo das científicas, a theatrical adventure by Trémola Teatro that brings curiosity, discovery and equality together for families.
Ángela discovers a magical time machine in her home’s basement. When she activates it, she travels into the past and meets extraordinary women whose work helped shape history. But the machine breaks down, and the mission takes an unexpected turn. Can the audience help her put the future back together?
Through theatre, imagination and audience participation, this performance shines a light on women in science while keeping the joy of storytelling at its heart.
The performance is part of the Circuíto en Igualdade programme organised by the Deputación da Coruña, with the support of Concello de Ponteceso. A chance to encounter inspiring stories from the history of science and enjoy a cultural event in the Costa da Morte.
