On Saturday 24 October 2026 at 11:30 am, O Conco in Dumbría will host a meeting with women writers, bringing readers and literary voices together for a morning dedicated to books and storytelling. The event takes place on International Libraries Day and also celebrates Women Writers’ Day, marked on 15 October.
The featured guests are Nieves García Centeno, Rebeca Cernadas Ameijeiras, Érica Domínguez Pais, Guadalupe Vázquez Formoso, Natalia Lema Otero, Ainhoa Conde Castro and Natalia Monje. It is an opportunity to discover their voices and celebrate women’s contributions to literature.
Part of the autumn programme organised by the Dumbría libraries and Dumbría Town Council, the event highlights libraries as welcoming spaces for reading, culture and community. The poster also promises a few surprises for those attending.
For readers and anyone interested in discovering literary voices, this is a cultural date worth adding to the calendar.
