The FITVI · International Puppet Festival of Vilaño brings its programme to the Castro de Montes Claros with Latexos · As lendas do Castro, a K’Paparota Teatro production combining oral storytelling, tabletop objects and puppetry to explore Galician legends through humour, fantasy and local wit.
The show invites audiences into a world of mythical beings, hidden treasures and stories passed down through generations, with a format designed for families and set in one of A Laracha’s distinctive archaeological sites.
After the performance, archaeologist Puri Soto will lead the talk As nosas lendas, focusing on oral tradition, collective memory and stories connected to the local landscape.
The afternoon will continue with a picnic at the hillfort accompanied by music from Paipetiques. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own food and stay to enjoy the setting and festival atmosphere.
The event is part of the first edition of FITVI · Entre Verzas e Monicreques, organised by Adro de Vilaño with the support of Deputación da Coruña and Concello da Laracha.
