Actress and creator Mariña Lestón brings «Costa da Morte: Cartografía dun Naufraxio» to Cee, a theatre production exploring the maritime memory of the Costa da Morte through real stories and traditional songs performed live.
Co-produced by Mariña Lestón and the Centro Dramático Galego, the show looks back at the history of this coastline and remembers not only those who lost their lives in shipwrecks, but also the families, communities and people who remained ashore or took part in rescue efforts.
Rooted in the territory and its oral tradition, the production turns local memory and popular music into a powerful stage experience. It offers audiences a way to discover the seafaring identity, collective memory and stories that have shaped the Costa da Morte.
The performance is part of the 13th O Mes da Fundación 2026 programme, organised by the Fundación Fernando Blanco de Lema.
