Isabel Risco returns as her unmistakable rural superheroine in As aventuras de Nabiza Girl: O estraño caso da cultura minguante. The show comes to FIOT en Ruta on Sunday 18 October 2026 at 6:00 pm in a social centre in Carballo, bringing together comedy, satire and a sharply engaged view of Galician culture.
Nabiza Girl needs neither a glossy cape nor imported superpowers: her strength comes from the land, the language and a way of looking at the world in which Galician wit becomes a critical tool. Isabel Risco creates an immediate, popular comedy where identity, feminism, rural life and the defence of local culture all pass through an unapologetically comic filter.
The language of superheroes becomes a way of talking about very real issues. Exaggeration, playful stereotypes and Risco’s commanding stage presence turn cultural resistance into performance without losing the ability to laugh at ourselves.
