La segunda venida de Cristo o el yoga de Jesús, by Rafael Álvarez, El Brujo, comes to FIOT 2026 in Carballo as part of the Programa de Sala and in its Galician premiere. The performance takes place on Saturday 31 October at 8:00 pm at the Auditorio Pazo da Cultura.
Rafael Álvarez, El Brujo, returns with a new piece in which his voice, storytelling instinct and direct relationship with the audience stand at the centre of the theatrical experience. The title itself opens a territory between the spiritual and the earthly, between tradition and a free theatrical gaze that avoids solemnity.
In El Brujo’s hands, language becomes action. His theatre moves through storytelling, humour, reflection and the sheer pleasure of telling a story, creating an immediate bond with the audience. This new work continues a career shaped by orality, stage intelligence and a highly personal ability to turn large questions into living theatre.
The Carballo date will be the first opportunity to see the production in Galicia. It is especially appealing for audiences who enjoy theatre driven by the performer’s presence, the force of language and the blend of thought and play that defines El Brujo’s stage world.
