Recunchos 2026 in Vimianzo is the walking programme organised by the Concello de Vimianzo, offering a chance to discover different parts of the municipality through routes connected to nature, history and landscape. The activities will take place between June and September, with limited places and prior registration through the municipal website.
The programme includes five walks: Dende Vimianzo a Castrobuxán on 20 June; Os Penedos de Pasarela e Traba on 11 July; Bamiro: un paseo pola historia on 29 August; Noite de petros on 4 September; and Polas terras de Salto on 19 September. It is a programme designed to enjoy walking at a relaxed pace, learn more about the territory and explore some of Vimianzo’s most special corners.
Registrations must be completed at www.vimianzo.gal and will close on the Thursday before each walk. Participants are advised to bring food, drink, suitable footwear and appropriate clothing. The walks will start at 9:30 a.m. and are expected to finish at around 2:00 p.m., except for Noite de petros, which will begin at 9:00 p.m.. Travel to the starting point is the responsibility of each participant.
